BOMFRUiT

Webflow Development — Factory44

A brand with character

BOMFRUiT has supplied fresh produce to Dublin's trade market since 1947. When Factory44 designed a new web presence for them, the brief called for something with real personality — a hand-crafted illustrated world that felt as alive as the brand itself.

My role was the full Webflow build, working directly from Factory44's Figma designs.

Bringing the illustrations to life

The visual centrepiece of the site is a layered, illustrated hero scene — hills, trees, clouds, and sunlight — built from individual SVG elements and animated to create depth and movement on load. Getting that to feel natural rather than mechanical was the main challenge: each element needed its own timing and easing so the scene settled into place rather than just appearing.

Scroll-triggered animations carry that same sensibility through the rest of the site, with content revealing progressively as the user moves through each section. The goal throughout was to match the warmth of the illustration style in the way the site behaves — nothing snappy or clinical.

Structure across four product areas

The site covers four distinct product areas (fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers, and two exclusive beverage brands), each with its own page, so structure and consistency across those sections was also part of the build work.
